Dr Myers Interview on the Lars Larson Show

My recent interview on the nationally syndicated Lars Larson Show discussing my recent Op Ed, called Faith, Freedom, and the Fragility of Justice which you can view here. Interview starts at the 44.15m mark.

Here is a quote from that interview:

“Lars, when we refuse to require newcomers to embrace the civic culture and legal principles that sustain a free society, we put the very future of our nation at risk. This is what assimilation means, and history gives us clear warnings. Rome collapsed as a city-state for this very reason, when it allowed the Visigoths to settle without demanding loyalty to Roman law and values. History has a way of repeating itself.

In my recent op-ed, I argue that when we ignore the religious and cultural dimensions of crime and extremism, when we dismiss these issues as fringe concerns, we are setting ourselves up for failure. This isn’t about intolerance, and it’s not about rejecting multiculturalism outright. It’s about recognizing that our legal system is built on Judeo-Christian principles, principles grounded in freedom, true tolerance, and the rule of law. And everyone here must follow those laws.

This is about defending the Constitution, upholding the rule of law, and preserving the very freedoms that made the United States strong in the first place.”
