Good day, my friends! Welcome to another episode of America’s Criminologist. I’m Dr. Currie Myers, bringing you the latest insights and developments in criminal justice from across the United States.
My Podcast is brought to you by the Howard Wagyu Ranch. Raised on a family ranch in Central Kansas, Howard Wagyu serves Wagyu beef with the highest quality and excellence. Just go to their website Howard Wagyu! Now featuring Wagyu Tallow Lotion!
I’m thrilled to announce that my new book, The Advent of Feral Man, is now available exclusively on my Substack at drcurriemyers.substack.com for paid subscribers. In this work, I explore compelling evidence that over the past decade, America has been accelerating toward a disturbing trend—the “wilding” of the human spirit. This unraveling is deeply rooted in the erosion of faith, the breakdown of the family, and the absence of moral formation in our culture. If you're a subscriber, you’ll gain access to this book along with all my previously published work. I truly hope you find it as thought-provoking to read as it was fulfilling to write.
Don’t forget, you can also listen to this podcast on Spotify—just search America’s Criminologist with Dr. Currie Myers. And stay connected with me on X @DrCurrieMyers—an essential platform where I share commentary, research, and updates.
If you’re looking for more, I’m hosting two additional podcasts you might enjoy. The first is The St. Michaels Group Podcast at stmichaelsgroup.substack.com, where we focus on restoring the pillars of faith, family, and moral formation. The second is a gripping exploration of criminal psychology called Wired to Kill, available at wiredtokill.substack.com. This one dives into real criminal cases, laced with my professional insights into what may have been going on in the mind of the killer.
All three podcasts are available on Spotify, so be sure to subscribe and stay informed.
This week on The Lou Desmond & Company Show I was the guest host for Lou. Joining us this week was Chief Chris Noeller, a man who needs no script and no soft filter. He is the Chief of Police for the Pueblo Police Department and currently serves as the President of the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police. See this interview below!
I had a great time appearing the on the Wake Up with Christopher DeSimone this week. We talked at length about the LA riots and lawlessness in America. You can download that interview at Wake Up with Christopher DeSimone - Tucson & Marana Advertising | Live The Dream Media
Here is my Riff for the week:
Once again, America finds itself watching major cities descend into chaos. Los Angeles is ablaze with organized protests turned riots, with New York City and Atlanta quickly following suit. And let’s be clear: these are not spontaneous acts of public grievance. They are coordinated political theater, starring Antifa radicals, BLM leftovers, professional agitators, and progressive foot soldiers who operate like insurgents with iPhones. Read the full editorial below!

Okay here is Dr C’s top five blitz on CJ News and Information for this week:
The Dark Side of Disasters: Looting and Criminal Exploitation During Storms
In the wake of natural disasters, communities often rally together to rebuild and recover. However, alongside the efforts to restore order, there is a darker undercurrent that emerges. Looting—taking advantage of the chaos and disarray—has unfortunately become a frequent occurrence during times of disaster. When Hurri…
In the sleepy hollers of Murray, Kentucky… where the whiskey’s smoother than the roads… one man went from barfly to bioterrorist in under sixty seconds. Jonathan Wayne Mason—yes, three names, never a good sign—was banned from the Big Apple Grill & Bar after allegedly over-celebrating $3 Fireball Night. Naturally, his response was mature, reasoned, and peaceful…Just kidding! He came back with a live raccoon and released it inside the bar. Because what says ‘sophisticated vengeance’ like a feral woodland creature unleashed during happy hour? Mason didn’t just burn a bridge—he unleashed a rabid road crew on it. Eyewitnesses say Mason stormed in, flung open the door like Doc Holliday, and dropped the raccoon mid-room like it was a Pokéball. ‘I choose you—Chaoscoon! Within seconds, the raccoon darted between bar stools, scaled a jukebox, and bit a guy trying to feed it mozzarella sticks. The raccoon was eventually captured, and tested negative for rabies—unlike Mason, whose blood alcohol level registered ‘Moonshine Enthusiast.’ Authorities charged him with wildlife harassment and criminal mischief, which frankly feels like underselling it.”
