This week on the Lou Desmond & Company Show our guest was Scott Nelson. Scott is the Founder and President of Security & Risk Management Group, LLC (SRMG), a global security and risk management firm specializing in threat analysis, executive protection, crisis management, and advanced investigative solutions. With a distinguished career spanning the U.S. Marine Corps, the FBI, and corporate security leadership, Nelson has been at the forefront of security strategy for decades. As a former Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI and a Marine Corps infantry commander, his expertise in intelligence, crisis response, and global security operations is unmatched. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the Legion of Merit with Combat V, the Bronze Star, and the FBI Star for valor.

Beyond his operational experience, Nelson is an adjunct professor at Webster University and UCLA Extension, where he sits on advisory boards shaping homeland security and emergency management programs. A sought-after Hollywood technical advisor, he has contributed to major films and television productions, including Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar. He frequently appears in the media, offering expert commentary on crime, terrorism, and urban conflict.
